Super proud of my incredible team of department heads at Pleasant Manor.

They are dedicated, loyal, and truly love our residents. You can see it every single day, not just in the big moments, but in the small things they do without being asked. The way they show up, the way they care, and the way they go above and beyond to make this feel like home.

Moments of Truth….These are the moments when our team members go beyond their job description, beyond convenience, and beyond comfort to live out CAPLICO in real time.

During the recent winter storm in Dallas–Fort Worth, five of our team members chose commitment over comfort. For five straight nights, they stayed in the building. They rotated breaks. Slept on couches and in unoccupied beds. Covered shifts when others couldn’t safely make it in. And most importantly, they made sure our residents never experienced a gap in care.

Our therapy team works incredibly hard, and achieving Ensign’s Chief Therapy Officer (CTO) award is no small task. It requires exceptional leadership, dedication, and a level of excellence that pushes any therapist to their very best.

Megan Lewis our Dorector of Rehab and my Partner in Crime at Pleasant Manor not only met those expectations but exceeded them. She embodies Level 5 leadership, pours into others daily, and leads with humility, strength, and purpose. Because of her outstanding leadership and commitment, Megan officially earned the prestigious CTO award.

We had the best time today celebrating Thanksgiving with our residents and their families at Pleasant Manor. Our team did an amazing job preparing a warm, delicious lunch and creating a special moment for everyone to enjoy together.

Today our residents were treated to a special visit from Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The joy and excitement they brought into our building was absolutely priceless. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do and how meaningful these connections are.

A heartfelt thank you to Bristol Hospice and to Rosanna Mata for making this magical moment possible. We are so grateful for your partnership, kindness, and the love you continue to show our Pleasant Manor family.
