Building a brand requires a lot of creative thinking. Having a place to clear your mind can open up blocked pathways
Get started today!
You donât actually need to work overtime to achieve your goals. There is a better way, a smarter way to maintain your work-life balance and have everything you want in abundance.
Real talk.
A lot of people in nursing will tell you that you need to work overtime in order to reach your goals.
SPOILER ALERT: You actually donât.
Trust me, in the list of things you need to accomplish your goals, working overtime is at the bottom.
Let me tell you why:
Maintaining your work-life balance will prevent you from burning out so you can do what you love for longer.
My favorite way to relax after a long day.
Your turn! Drop a GIF/emoji in the comments to tell us what your go-to de-stressing activity is.
Whatâs your go-to when youâve had a looooong day?
We all have a favorite.
Maybe itâs singing at the top of your lungs on the drive home from work. đ¶
Or spending some quiet time just destressing from the overwhelm of your day. đ€«
Or enjoying a glass of wine. đ·
Or watching a favorite TV show. đŹ
Or stopping everything and dancing it out. đđș
For me, itâs creating content. It just helps me feel better when itâs been âone of thoseâ days.

Has someone ever asked you if youâre a âglass half full or half emptyâ type of person? That question makes me short circuit. And this is whyâŠ
Too negative is no good, but toxic positivity is also, well, toxic. Thereâs âfake it âtil you make it,â but also being honest and true to yourself. And thereâs, frankly, just sometimes a different answer based on my mood. So, do I say the glass is half full? Do I pretend itâs half full? Do I answer honestly if I view it as half empty? Do I have to just have ONE answer? đ„Ž
So hereâs my hot take: STOP QUESTIONING IT.
Iâm just going to accept that there isnât ONE perfect answer across the board.
Most days Iâm a glass half full kind of person. Lifeâs too short with unlimited possibilities.
And thatâs what works for me.
So, with the first and realest answer that pops in your mind: Is the glass half full or half empty? Why?
Iâm sure youâve heard the question âIs the glass half empty or half full?â
Maybe you even have a canned response:
Itâs both, obviously!
Itâs always full, even if half of it is full of air!
The glass is twice as big as it needs to be!
Basically, itâs just an oversimplification. Your answer can (and will) change every day. It doesnât mean youâre an optimist or a pessimist. It just means you are a human who has good days and bad days. Nothing is absolute; nothing is static. If the glass is only half-full, maybe itâs just in the process of being filled-up, or maybe you were really thirsty and already downed the first half. đ€·
Or maybe youâre not a pessimist after all... Maybe you just need a glass of water. đ
Tell me how youâre feeling today and/or how youâre trying to reframe your mindset in the comments. đ
Hey, can we take a minute to focus on YOU?
May is officially here, so it seems like a good time to check in on how your year is going so far. (Oh, and letâs celebrate that we can finally stop running into that âItâs gonna be Mayâ JT meme. đ )
Does it freak you out a little that 1/3 of the year is already gone? Because HOW DID THAT HAPPEN ALREADY?
If youâre like me, every day is different. Some days are filled with busy work (sending emails, taking calls, loading your to do list with new tasksâŠ). Others are more relaxed, where youâre able to really think ahead and dream and plan.
Some days I feel like a CEO. Some days I feel like a note taker. (And some days all I want to do is binge a good show and curl up on the couch and pretend responsibility doesnât exist đđ)
Wherever you are in your 2021 journey, you should be proud of yourself. Remember that success and progress donât always look the way we initially planned.
So, whether youâre feeling like a boss or not, stop for a second, and think of something youâve accomplished so far this year. Acknowledge the good, and donât dwell on the could/should/would-haves.
Whatever you are, just be the best that.

There are no limits for friends. You learn something from anyone no matter the age.
Success is compromised of small wins daily. Some days you will fail and thatâs ok. Choose 3 goals to accomplish everyday and write it down in a book. After a month, read your story. You have been winning everyday!

Stronger nurse was founder in the principles of strength in five key areas- mental, physical, emotional, financial and relationships. I must have integrity with myself before others believe in my vision. Everyday choose one principle to uphold. If youâre feeling stronger, choose multiple principles to uphold for the day.
A goal is something you plan to achieve that is specific, measurable, agreeable, realistic, and timed.
If you do what is easy your life will be hard; if you do what is hard your life will be easy. ~ Les Brown
During the pandemic, I was struck with the entrepreneurial spirit. I have been making mistakes and learning from them to develop a brand for nurses. All I know how to do is be a nurse. Everything else I am learning has come from trial and error.
Nursing is a profession that is mentally, physically, and spiritually demanding. Nurses suffer from burnout, desensitization, and debilitating injury. Nurses are exceptionally strong individuals. Over time the nurse's body, mind and spirit becomes weakened and weary. What will happen when no one wants to be a nurse anymore? Who will take care of the dying, sick and weak? Who will empathize with compassion and non-judgment?
This page will guide you to be a stronger nurse! YOU MATTER!!! You get ONE body, ONE mind, ONE spirit! Choose to be mentally, physically, and spiritually stronger. Don't become a patient because you neglected to care for the most important person- YOU!
