We received a specialty, high-end wheelchair donated to Emelita’s Closet . We shared it on social media, and just a few days later, someone reached out on behalf of a client who is paralyzed on her left side. Medicare had declined her — but this exact wheelchair was exactly what she needed. 🙌

✨ A chair sitting unused in someone’s garage became a life-changing gift for someone else.

That’s the beauty of Emelita’s Closet — bringing people together through kindness and need.

HELP NEEDED! 🦼 🩷
We have a sweet lady who would like to donate a wheelchair to Emelita’s Closet, but she’s in McKinney. If you will be in the McKinney area …and then can bring it to the Flower Mound/Highland Village area, would you mind picking it up? Thank you!!

Thankful for this generous donation! We had no wheelchairs until this one was donated (new in the box) and the very next day we had an urgent request for a wheelchair. 🙏🏼

Please remember Emelita’s Closet if you have gently used and clean medical equipment. We always have a need for:

Over the Holidays we were asked by many people if there was a way to make a monetary donation to help Emelita's Closet serve more seniors in need.
