I BELONG Theater’s inaugural, standing ovation performance! Showdown in Kindness Town was a sold out performance that taught the crowd about one simple law: “Be Kind it’s not that hard people!”
The actors and directors worked hard the last 12 weeks to bring us this phenomenal performance and their hard work paid off. The play was written entirely by the cast and each actor picked and created their own character!

We had an amazing day at our Flower Mound location at the Flower Mound United Methodist Church. We had a beautiful Art Exhibit where our participants demonstrated their ability and creativity. Also, our President Witek Nowosiad was able to speak to almost 300 people about I Belong . Thank you Rev. Alexandra Robinson for the invitation!

April is Autism Awareness Month 💙
Awareness is important, but acceptance, inclusion, and kindness matter even more.
Because belonging isn’t just about being included it’s about being valued, supported, and seen.

Saturday we had a Yoga and Soundbath event lead by Vasfie Abderafi! We practiced breathing and grounding techniques and created mind - body connection.
And then the Soundbath - the sounds coming from crystal bowls calming the nervous system. We were so relaxed!

This past Saturday we had another amazing I Belong event! Card Creations with Linda Bonner and lindabonnerstudios! We created handmade personalized cards for any friend or loved one! It was awesome! 💌🤗 😀

Happy World Down Syndrome Day!

Don’t just stand by be a friend with a person with down syndrome it’s just an extra chromosome! 💙

According to World Down Syndrome Day social isolation is one of the biggest issues for people with Down syndrome. At I Belong our join mission is to create spaces for adults with disabilities to connect and create meaningful relationships to combat this social isolation.
