We talk a lot about getting stronger, building stability, and improving performance. But what often gets overlooked is the other half of the equation. Relaxation.
Your body cannot stay in a constant state of tension and expect to function well. This is especially true for the pelvic floor. Muscles that never fully relax can become just as problematic as muscles that are weak.
True strength comes from balance. It is the ability to contract and to release. To support and to soften. When your body learns how to do both, movement feels better, pain decreases, and everything works more efficiently.
If you are always pushing, always holding, always bracing, this is your reminder to slow down. Breathe. Stretch. Give your body the space it needs to recover and reset.
Relaxation is not a break from progress. It is part of the process.
