I still remember this moment from educating parents and their kids.
In this photo, it was a little girl and her father during one of our wellness screenings. Their faces are covered for privacy, but the impact of this moment speaks for itself.
She had completed the PACER test after being identified as being at risk for obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes, and what started as a fitness assessment turned into something much deeper than numbers on a page.
It became a conversation.
A father asking real questions.
A parent seeking understanding.
A man focused on making healthier changes for his child and family.
That part stayed with me.
Because while some people avoid the truth, others are ready to face it head-on and do the work required to create change.
This father was engaged, attentive, and intentional. He wanted knowledge. He wanted guidance. He wanted better for his child.
And that matters.
Because children don’t make these decisions alone. Their environment, habits, and daily examples help shape their future health.
When one parent chooses to break unhealthy patterns, it can change the trajectory of an entire family.
That’s why wellness education matters. Sometimes people are not ignoring their health—they simply haven’t been given the tools, support, or guidance they need.
And when they are, transformation can begin.
I work with children through structured wellness programs focused on education, awareness, and lifestyle support.
If you’re ready to create healthier habits for your child or family, I’m here to help guide that journey.
