REMEMBERING MY DAD ON HIS BIRTHDAY…...
I came back from school and was eagerly waiting for my dad to come home so we could start lunch together. It was a regular thing for us to eat lunch together as a family. The doorbell rang, and I ran to the main door hurriedly opening it, thinking it was my dad. To my surprise, there was a middle aged person, disheveled and unshaven, in shabby clothes, with red eyes at the door. He anxiously inquired about my father,'Where's Dr. Sahab?' I said he would be in his office or might be on his way back home. He suddenly started crying like a kid, 'Doctors ne mera bacha maar diya' (Doctors killed my son). Before I could inquire further, he turned back and walked away, wiping his tears. I, while holding the door with a heavy heart, thought that whoever he was I would ask my father to give him justice. Yes my father was the chief executive of Sheikh Zayed Hospital RYK at that time. Later we came to know that the man came from a small town for his 8 year-old son's tonsillectomy. Most of you know that tonsillectomy is not a major surgery and it's not life threatening, and the patient recovers in a couple of days. After his son's surgery, the bleeding didn't stop, and the poor father kept begging the nurses to ask the doctor to come and examine. But the ENT doctor didn't check him post-operatively. And the poor child died because of the excessive bleeding . My father called the doctor to his office and inquired about it. The doctor said such mistakes happen in medical practice. My father said, 'Mistake? It's a case of sheer negligence.' He shrugged his shoulders. My dad said that a doctor is supposed to be a healer, not a murderer. My father decided to send the inquiry report to the health department. Someone from family asked my father to let it go. What my father replied, those words still resonate in my head: 'Allah will not only ask about prayers and fasting on Judgment Day but also ask you that a person needed justice and did you provide it?' My father made an inquiry report and sent it to the Secretary Health Punjab. They did the due inquiry and the ENT surgeon was found guilty of negligence, and due action was taken. Yes, my father was a kind and considerate person but at the same time, a thorough professional. Later he served as Director General Health Punjab and proved to be one of the best administrators. We are so proud of you.
Happy heavenly birthday Abu 🎉🎊🎂.
Yes, you were and still are my strength and support in life. May Allah bless your soul in heaven. I know you're at a better place, but we miss your presence and wisdom every day ♥️

Last night I watched the last episode of the drama serial Muamma. Review to banta hai 😊I don't know how to rate this drama. It has very weak to very strong scenes. In some episodes, I felt like it was a very good drama and would leave its mark in contemporary dramas, while in others it had below average and ridiculously crafted scenes. It felt like there were two directors for it lol. Well It happens when the drama is dragged more than it should be. There were some script oversights too. When Shahjahan (Usman Mukhtar) came to see Jahan Ara to apologize, he mentioned that he got scared that Sarmad( Syed Jibran) would harm his family, but later in the flashback scenes there was a completely different version that he doubted her character and divorced her. Did someone notice it?
As far as acting goes, Saba Qamar was overall very good. Asiya (Nimra Shahid) was outstanding. I am also impressed by the acting of Anoushey Abbasi, she gave very good emotional scenes, and the driver Ashiq Hussain (Hassan Farid Khan) did too. The wrapping of Muamma was very haphazard. Again the reason is overstretching of the story and then it's difficult to wrap up. I feel like there was no need for two killings in the end, it could end with some other emotional punishment. Overall, it was an average drama.

Overall, it was an average drama. It started with a unique story, but later they couldn’t hold a good grip on it, it could have been far better if done right.

Shame on you Iqrar ul Hassan. Your behavior shows us how successful you will be in politics. Yeh patience hai ap mai k ek immigration officer ne ek political comment kr dya aur ap gusse se pagal ho gaye? What u teach us on your Ramadan shows- patience, mannerism, etiquette, that’s just drama and pretentiousness? You should apologize to that officer instead of asking him to apologize. I wish I'll come across you and I'll do the same comment.

I highly condemn these two podcasters Irshad Bhatti and Rehan Tariq for asking such irritating and disgusting questions with your guest Meera. Who gave you guys the right to humiliate her like that? You invite people to your show to humiliate them and get views and ratings. Shame on you guys. Wese Irshad Bhatti sahb ap se to ye umeed bilkul nahi thi.
On the contrary, Meera conducted herself well with grace and patience. She told the two ill mannered podcasters multiple times that she was here for the promotion of her film, not for these kinds of questions. But they kept on asking “ apko America mai pagal khane mai daal dya tha, Sangeeta ne kaha k ap falan k sath range hatho pakri gayein” etc etc.
Nowadays these YouTubers/podcasters have no ethics; they can say whatever they want. Anyone who wants to can grab a camera and mic and become a podcaster/YouTuber.
I wish some action were taken against them too.

A country's real image is formed with its integrity, dignity, sovereignty, and courage, n not just by superficial stuff. If you think that Pakistan played a positive role in resolving issues between the two warring countries and, as a Pakistani, you take pride in that well it's fair enough. Any action that improves the image of your country makes you feel good. To me, there's a difference between being a real mediator vs being one's master's voice. But this is beside the point here.
Taking pride in solving external matters is less important than solving our own internal issues. It's like your own house is on fire and you're extinguishing others'. Neglecting important major house issues can’t be compensated by helping others in their matters.
In a regime where people have no right to speak freely, no right to protest against a stolen mandate, where a special kid is punished to death for showing love for his favorite leader, where peaceful protesters are shot in the face, where the most favored leader is thrown in jail on fake cases and the courts are helpless to prove any relief n worse, he is denied basic health facilities, human rights are violated left and right, and no one cares.
All these things also make or break the image of our country. If we take pride in certain things then we should also feel responsible for so many wrong things too. We should also notice and raise our voice against these. Pakistan is our country, and we take pride in anything that enhances its image. In the recent India-Pakistan war, I openly supported and praised the forces of Pakistan and faced some criticism from my fellow PTI supporters, but I stood my ground because I believe the military belongs to our borders and they did their job.
External events cannot be used as a mask to cover internal issues. The real image gets better when real issues are addressed. When we are internally strong and sovereign, the world will respect us more.
Pakistan zindabad 💚

Aag Lagay Basti Mein is a Pakistani crime-comedy film. The story revolves around Barkat (Fahad Mustafa) and Almaas (Mahira Khan), a struggling couple who want to become rich and move to Dubai. Their attempts to get rich quickly get them into a trap and they just keep spiraling. Well, the story looks cool, but unfortunately, the script, direction, and treatment of the movie were so poor that it became another failed attempt to revive the Pakistani cinema 🎦
I feel bad writing a not-so-good review for a Pakistani movie but it is what it is.
