Todd's Bio:
☆☆☆Todd is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and he took his first yoga class there back in 2001. That first class lit a fire within him that would never burn out and years later his practice eventually rescued him from a life of addiction, anxiety, and depression.
Todd says "I was drawn to the physical part of the practice initially, but it was the internal and mental searching and cleansing that kept me coming back to my mat. The fact that I get to be for my students what my teachers do for me in guiding this beautiful practice cannot be put into words. Its therapeudic and I'm humbled by it every time I walk through the studio doors."
Todd has been teaching since 2011 and is trained mainly in Hatha and Vinyasa.☆☆☆

Every weekday evening at 6:45pm the Zen Gym offers a 45-min long guided Yoga Nidra class called REST.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. In lucid dreaming, one is only, or mainly, cognizant of the dream environment, and has little or no awareness of one's actual environment.
The practice of yoga relaxation has been found to reduce tension and anxiety. The autonomic symptoms of high anxiety such as headache, giddiness, chest pain, palpitations, sweating and abdominal pain respond well. It has been used to help soldiers from war cope with posttraumatic stress disorder.

Nancy's Bio:
Nancy discovered yoga in college 40 years ago, and since that time she has had a long, continuous love affair with the practice. She has had an opportunity to study and practice Hatha, Iyengar and Anusara styles of Yoga and with masters Tias Little, Erich Schiffmann, and John Friend. Nancy originally began teaching Anusara Yoga in 2003 and re-certified with Yoga Alliance in a rigorous training program at the Dallas Yoga Center in 2015.
Her teaching style is a composite of the many styles of Yoga she has practiced over the years but is rooted in the traditional Hatha style and inspired by the ancient stories of India. Nancy is known for her the depth of knowledge and an egoless gentleness when guiding a practice that can be a pleasantly surprising challenge to both mind and body.
Nancy is a native of California, but now proudly calls Texas home and lives in Dallas. Nancy speaks several languages and has a love of Sanskrit, the language of Yoga. Nancy previously lived in Japan where she taught Yoga and studied meditation, and has also traveled extensively in India, where the spiritual aspect of her practice was awakened. She is a former competitive transpacific sailboat racer; holds a difficult to earn IANTD advanced deep-air diving certification; and has faced the 26.2 mile challenge of the marathon a half a dozen times. First and foremost, through the practice of Yoga and Meditation, she is an explorer of her own mind. Nancy is currently studying for a combined RYT500 and Ayurveda counselor certification.
