🎊 Congratulations on your pregnancy!

🤰 Whether you are a first-timer or seasoned practitioner, yoga throughout pregnancy can look and feel different than you might expect.

🧘 This is a beautiful and transitional time in your life and yoga will help you to truly connect to your changing body and growing baby.

✔️ Although prenatal yoga is very safe, these few reminders and precautions to be aware of before you begin that will help make your practice a lot more enjoyable.

👩‍⚕️ Make sure you get the OK from your doctor before participating in prenatal yoga.

🏵 In Sanskrit, the word “chakra” means “disk” or “wheel” and refers to the energy centers in the body. 

🌀 These wheels or disks of spinning energy each correspond to certain nerves and major organs. 

⚖ To function at their best, the chakras need to stay open, or balanced. 

⚫ They can become blocked or overactive, causing physical and/or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra.

🗓 In this Chakra Flow Yoga series starting Thursday, November 18 - December 16, 2021 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm cst online I will be focusing on seven main chakras that run along the spine. 

🚫 NO CLASS ON 11|25|21

🌳 Starting at the root, or base, of the spine and extending to the crown of the head. 

🔴 Root - base of the spine.
🟠 Sacral - below the belly button.
🟡 Solar Plexus - stomach area.
🟢 Heart - heart area. 
🔵 Throat -  throat area. 
🟣 Third Eye - between the eyes.
👑 Crown - at the top of the head.

🙌 When you start to balance your chakras, you start to balance your life!

🌎 A beautiful memory of my solo traveling excursion in South America. 

✈ I arrived a few weeks prior to meeting with my yoga school to complete my yoga teachers training. 

🌙 I met this wonderful lady exploring the archaeological site of the Moon Temple in Cusco, Peru. 

👣 We were the only ones there, completely alone, and we found it interesting that we happened to cross paths. 

💞 We had some meaningful conversations and decided to capture a moment of us together.

ABOUT:
This 60 minute yoga flow targets muscles and liramgnts used during labor; while offering a meditation and singing bowl at the end of the practice.

This calming class is designed to help expectant mothers learn how to manage breath and body during birth, and provide a healing experience for those in postpartum (must be 6+ weeks postpartum).

Join us in-person every Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM for a 60 minute yoga flow.

This calming class is designed to help expecting mothers to learn how to manage breath and body during birth, and provide healing experiences for those in postpartum recovery. Must be 6 weeks postpartum.

🔸️Trauma Symptoms:
Often, shock and denial are typical reactions to a traumatic event. Over time, these emotional responses may fade, but a survivor may also experience reactions long-term. 

These can include:
•Anger
• Persistent feelings of sadness and despair
• Flashbacks
• Unpredictable emotions
• Physical symptoms, such as nausea and headaches
• Intense feelings of guilt, as if they are somehow responsible for the event
• An altered sense of shame
• Feelings of isolation and hopelessness

In this 6 Week Series, we will explore tools and techniques to help work with the symptoms of stress and trauma.

Classes are every Thursday starting September 30th - November 4th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM central time.

🌹Divine Feminine Talking Circle & Yoga Flow 🧘‍♀️

You may have heard about the solar eclipse that is happening on Thursday, June 10th coinciding with the new moon.

This is a potential time to be clear about what you want to create in your life, what are your deepest desires?

New moons symbolize new beginnings and solar eclipses energetically give us an extra boost for transformation in our lives. Out with what is no longer serving us, the darkness, and welcoming in the new, the Light!

This is a perfect time to sit, to be still, and connect with your higher Self. Your Light. So you can ask what is next for me? Once you have clarity around this then you can set your intentions to help create what you want for your life.

The Divine Feminine Talking Circle is a supportive space in which you will be heard, held and seen without judgment. Gather in a circle to create a sense of equality and community amongst each other.

Everyone will be allowed to share going around the circle at least once for anyone that would like to share. This will allow you to connect in sisterhood, and to share your wisdom and experiences.

The poses in the Yoga Flow will help you locate and release stored trauma in the body blocking you from manifesting the things that you do want in your life. Trauma is something that we have all experienced at some point in our lives and it can look different for everyone.

Yoga beginners are welcome and encouraged. No prior yoga experience is necessary!

👣 Common positions in regular yoga like those where your feet are spread far apart may be too stressful for the joints and pelvic area when pregnant.

😔 As your baby grows, there’s a lot more weight pushing down on your bladder and pelvis.

🤰Pregnancy hormones also loosen your ligaments, making joint and bone problems a source of discomfort.

🧘‍♀️In addition to modifying positions for pregnancy, Prenatal Yoga also emphasizes breathing, stretches and strengthening moves that help your body prepare for labor.
