I'm not sure with dates yet but Steve will have hernia surgery and maybe knee surgery. I will need to make some money during his rehab time. You know I love to cook. So I'm up to making casseroles, one pot meals, homemade bread, cookies dessert breads, and gluten free sugar free desserts! I'm ready to start when you want a specialty. Magical Nibbles will begin cooking homemade meals next week. Monday, July 31.
Here's the weekly menu-
Monday. Roasted fresh vegetables and chicken bites.

Tuesday. Red beef enchiladas and salad with fresh vegetables.

Wednesday. Huge salad with everything imaginable.

Thursday. Pulled pork sandwich. Deviled egg, chips.

Friday. Spaghetti with meatballs and veggies of every color

I'm making progress to feel better. Physical therapy is the best!
Thinking about a different way of providing homemade food for my friends.
Yesterday my sister and I prepared enough food for 8-10 meals. In one afternoon we made Grilled pork chops
Chicken and dumplings
Meatloaf
Chili no beans
Vegetable tomato soup with or without cabbage
Lima beans with ham
Baked sweet potato or Russet potatoes
Cornbread
Potatoes panfried with onions.
My customer said she tasted everything and she thought she must be at Lubys. She doesn't have to think about cooking for awhile.
Would you like to pickup multiple servings for a few days or a week?
Think about it and let me know the entrees you would like. Doesn't have to come from the list above.

A real Southern Homemade cook rarely follows a recipe.
I made the best chili today within one hour.
Two lbs market ground chili meat and one lbs. Stew meat.sear and add one onion Chopped.
Add a 15 Oz can diced tomatoes and part of a can of tomato paste. Add two cans water. Add spices chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, black pepper and salt. Add leftover coffee about a cup. Simmer then taste. Add more spices if you like. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Delicious. The added stew meat gave the chili a different taste and texture serve with cheese and crackers. I won the chili contest tonight.
