Journals help me to track my thoughts and goals. I like to say I’m a historian.
Take the time to dream! Your health needs a good balance! Especially having healthy hobbies.
If you are working so hard that you skip your goals of working out, you are missing the point.
I personally like CrossFit and have been going now for 7 years to the same gym.
I’ve seen many people come and go, but I hope that they are still working out. 🏋️ It would be nice to see them again.
I just read over some of my journals of when I started CrossFit.
Here was my goal - Workout at CrossFit 5 days a week.
I’m finally able to achieve this more consistently.
I started understanding the importance of health and exercise in my 30’s and for most people, thats a late age to get started.
It’s important to learn nutrition as well. In my 20’s I didn’t understand about a balance diet and didn’t know why I felt so bad. I remember eating sweets as meals and later learned to eat protein at every meal.
Finding a healthy lifestyle is important to learn as early as possible.
As my coach says “if you dont’t have 1 hour a day to set aside to go to Crossfit, you need to look for a new job”.
I do think we should live a balanced life too. Mind, body, soul.
Take the time to smell the roses!
Enjoy beauty!
Enjoy nature!
Find an exercise program that you like.
Only you know if it’s something that you want to set goals for to continue.
