It’s Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care Education Week! Today, we want to highlight a few staff members who completed their SecureCare Training and how they have been able to apply that training in their role. 😊 🎊
Lauren – Speech Language Pathologist
Lauren works closely with our residents to strengthen communication, cognition, and safe swallowing skills. Her expertise is especially vital for residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, helping preserve their ability to express needs, maintain dignity, and stay safely engaged in daily life.
Namisha – Physical Therapist
Namisha focuses on improving mobility, balance, and strength to reduce fall risk and promote independence. For residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia, her structured, patient-centered approach supports safe movement and enhances overall quality of life.
Tiffany – Rehab Technician
Tiffany provides hands-on support during therapy sessions, ensuring exercises are completed safely and effectively. Her encouragement, attentiveness, and compassionate care help residents remain comfortable, confident, and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
