PLEASE FOLLOW OUR ACTIVE PAGE Satya Yoga Dallas
This past weekend we held another successful puppy yoga eventâŚ.and itâs not just for fun!! We have these events to support the rescue that my husband and I volunteer with Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform.
We host these events to raise awareness, raise donations and educate those who arenât aware of the extreme crisis in Texas when it comes to dumped, abandoned, owner surrender, injured and sick dogs.
Dallas Dogrrr NEVER says no! Is it extremely emotional?? YES! Try to wrap your brain and heart around being called to save a mom and her pups who were dumped on the side of the road, or the innocent pup tied to a tree in the middle of Ferris/Hutchins TexasâŚ.itâs heartbreaking!
Every single person who volunteers, fosters or rescues through ANY animal rescue group is always the first person people reach out to when they need help because they found a dog, or need to rehome a dog, or someone they know needs help with the same storyâŚ.itâs an hourly/daily/weekly occurrence for all of us!
My husband and I have 5 rescues, we had to stop fostering to balance our pack and now, our studio is how we showcase, raise awareness and help find homes for the many many animals who are LITERALLY discarded like trash!
This amazing yoga community that we have built and are continuing to grow is one of acceptance, diversity and more importantly, we want you to come as you are, and where you are in your health and wellness practice; you are safe in our studio. In addition to the incredible community we are cultivating, we also want to give back.
We started with animals, because that has been our passion for many years. But, to our community, we want to expand our Satya Yoga Give Back Mission!!!
Please send us your groups! Our mission first is for everyone to feel at home in our studio, followed by: while you are taking time to focus on you, your health and well-being; letâs also give back to our community!
Itâs truly a win/win for us all as we navigate through the day to day ups/downs/challenges and successes!
Letâs all support each other!!
With Sincere Gratitude,
Kristina
