Sometimes when you are extremely dehydrated or if you have very small veins, it gets difficult for our medics to get access for an IV bag. It always helps of a client a have some water 30 mins before the IV appointment in such conditions. If you are not able to keep water down, don’t worry! We still have some other tricks up our sleeves to get IV access.
