"Thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears" is a famous phrase from William Wordsworth’s poem "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood.”

I heard this quote recently, and it speaks volumes for what our families are going through. We see the exterior stoic faces but deep down their fears for the future are so profound that they don’t often express it through tears. They may express it through heightened anxiety, anger, or depression.

We are here to help these families navigate this difficult time of their lives by caring for their loved ones and offering support. 💜

Spring is here! As the weather starts to warm up, our senior loved ones will start to get out and explore again.

This is a good reminder to speak to your loved one about fall prevention. Pop in and look at their surroundings and identify any trip hazards. Remove rugs as they are a leading cause of falls. Take a look at their equipment making sure transfers are still easy for them. Add guardrails to hallways and bathrooms for extra support.

Our team of caregivers are trained on reducing the risk of falls for your loved ones and we are happy to provide a complementary consultation anytime.
