Attending TSHA and the SLP mixer last week reminded me that the real value of being in the room is not just the information.

he told me she wants to be a doctor.

And I did not laugh.
I did not say we will see.
I did not shrink it into something smaller or safer.

I said okay. Then let’s get you around doctors. 🩺

Because dreams are not random. They are formed by what our children are exposed to. They are shaped by what they see up close. They grow when someone says that is possible for you.

Today she sat next to a physician. Not on a screen. Not in a book. In real life. She asked questions. She listened. She watched. And I watched her watching.

That is how vision is built.

We talk a lot about legacy in business. About scaling. About impact. About income. But this right here is the real work. Making sure our children do not just inherit our hustle. They inherit our access. Our rooms. Our relationships. Our proximity to excellence.

If she can see it, she can normalize it.
If she can normalize it, she can pursue it.
If she can pursue it, she can become it.

I do not just want her to dream big. I want her to believe big. I want her to sit comfortably in spaces that once felt unreachable. I want her to know that a white coat is not intimidating. It is attainable.

So when she says she wants to be a doctor, we move accordingly.
