Suggestions to calm cortisol before sleeping:
1. Turn off electronics an hour before bed
2. Write down 3 things you are grateful for
3. Take 10 diaphragmatic breaths
4. Drink a glass of water
5. Read a positive book
6. Think about someone you love and send them an energy thought telling them so
7. Gently rub your ears. It relaxes your entire body
8. Roll the bottom of your feet on a golf ball. Relaxes your body
9. Don't sleep with any lights on near you. Make the room dark as possible
10. Let go of what you cannot change (the past). Be thankful for the moment (the present). Don't worry about what has not happened yet (the future)
11. Smile for no reason. It's the elixir for sleep

It's coming... #BeachSeason! As the temperatures continue to rise, more people will be donning tank tops and short shorts. Some people are excited by Spring while others are anxious about wearing the #SunsOutGunsOut and #SkysOutThighsOut apparel that accompanies the season.

We know what it's like to be uncomfortable in your own skin. Covering up out of fear to avoid embarrassment since your body is not "swimsuit ready" gets emotionally exhausting. It becomes socially debilitating as you skip out on fun opportunities because it means you'll be showing some skin in public.

It's difficult to overcome these self-imposed insecurities and establish a healthy body image. We are always our own worst critic, but there is nothing wrong with wanting to work on your physical appearance.
