Heading to bed early! I have a mama due any day now....my intuition is usually pretty good about birth - kinda feeling like I may get a call in the middle of the night! I know this Mama is READY to meet her sweet little, so I sure hope I get that call!!!!! G'night!

Great home visit with a very neat couple this evening. I am excited about this birth - it is always so neat and exciting to work with Yoga moms! This will be my first birth, also, at this birth center!!!

Cute blog. What was your top reason for hiring a doula, if you used (are using) one? For me...I knew I needed the support that another trained woman could provide me and my husband....and she was worth her weight in gold - both times! :)

Often times a Pedi will be quick to tell a mom to supplement because of 'low supply'..the breast is an amazing thing that usually responds to demand. Interesting article and I had some mixed feelings reading it, but overall, I am left to feel so blessed that I was able to legally homebirth my daughter - safely, blissfully, peacefully in our home surrounded by the most amazing women and my hubby. Birth options - all options - should be accessible to all!

Why we need to legalize home birth in all states to improve birth outcomes for all women.
