Mary Ellen Hatch, Encompass Health's vice president of nursing operations, was recently named president-elect of the 2022-23 Association of Rehabilitation Nurses board of directors at the organization’s annual conference in San Diego, California. Mary Ellen shared, "I'm honored to be asked by my peers to serve in this leadership role for ARN. Serving on the board of directors during these last four years of a global pandemic and challenging time in nursing has been an intensive focus on doing what’s right for nurses caring for rehabilitation patients. I'm looking forward to this next year of learning about the presidency role. Many great rehabilitation nurses have gone before me, and I hope to continue to promote ARN as the organization for all things rehabilitation nurses need, including education, research, evidence-based practice, support and networking!”

Congratulations, Mary Ellen!
