In 2003, we opened the doors of Therapeutic Partners of Texas, PLLC offering outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy to the Midlothian community. We rented 4000 square feet in the Midlothian Plaza offering a small fitness center inside the therapy clinic. This provided a safe space for my patients to continue their road to recovery upon discharge from therapy, plus a place for the community to work out.

Over the next 7 years, our PT practice and fitness center grew to a point where we could not accommodate the demand for our services in our current space.

With a lot of prayer, planning and good old hard work, in 2014 my husband John and I moved our business to a new location. It just happened to be in the same shopping center, less than 100 feet from the space we were renting. We opened the Main Street Gym which houses Therapeutic Partners of Texas.

We then had 25, 000 square feet to build a facility that would accommodate the growth and demand. We put in a 65' five lane lap swimming pool, 3 group fitness rooms, a spin studio, in addition to a large gym floor area with several lines of gym equipment and cardio machines. We now have 9 personal trainers, more than 45 group fitness classes a week, plus we offer massage therapy, nutritional services and Kidscare, which is our child sitting area that allows our members to workout knowing their kids are being watched and having fun with our child sitters. We are proud to offer Silversneakers, BeWell, Healthy Contributions senior citizen fitness programs, in addition to offering military, first responder, college student and other corporate discounts.
