I want to be honest about why I actually started taking CBD, because it wasn't for the reason you might think.

Anyone else wake up at 3am with their mind racing? 👇

That was me, every single night before. My mind would be racing and my body just exhausted. Replaying conversations, planning tomorrow, doing psycho-analysis of people that I didn't need to do.

I'd tried a lot of stuff, from magnesium to breathing apps, and some expensive sleep teas in between. Nothing worked for me.

A friend kept telling me to try these chill gummies. At that point, I was ready to try anything.

It wasn’t until about the third morning that I felt a difference. I realized I’d slept through the night past 3am.

Now I get 7-8 hours sleep most nights. Mind quietens, body does too. My mood is so much better and I'm sharper at work, instead of dreading Mondays.

When was the last time you woke up before your alarm and felt awake?

The 5pm pour, or the 11pm scroll, which one are you trying to quit first? 👇

One of them is keeping you up.

The other is making the hangover last 36 hours instead of 4.

(If you're in your 30s+, you already know which.)

I'll go first in the comments.

What's the most ridiculous thing you've raged at this week? 👇

(Mine: a teaspoon. The audacity of it.)

Perimenopause rage has a name. It has a mechanism. And it's not who you are.

It's the cortisol loop: estrogen drops, cortisol climbs, sleep gets worse, cortisol climbs higher. By 4pm you're running hot from a nervous system that's been cooked for months.

The rage is biology. It has answers.

But step one is to stop interpreting it as personal failure.

Comment RAGE. I'll DM you the full breakdown.

The off-switch was never the wine.

The off-switch was the 15 minutes where nobody needed anything from you.

A full dropper of Delta-9 Chill Drops in sparkling water, something fizzy and cold in your hand, the kitchen finally quiet.

It’s the same pause the wine gave you. None of the 3am mind chatter.

Our own customers put it better than we can:

"Have really enjoyed mixing this in a sparkling water at night in lieu of a glass of wine. It helps me feel relaxed but also a little more healthy too."

"I often struggle turning my brain off at night, but adding these to a glass of water has been the perfect thing to relax my mind."

"I've been using the delta-9 gummies to help with sleep for years now. I'm a very happy repeat customer."

This is just what they keep telling us.

Start with half a dropper. 3mg of THC is less than it sounds and exactly enough.

Comment ‘SLEEP’ to get a link to our bestselling products for the evening wind-down.

It wasn't a bottle-a-night thing.

It never was.

It was a glass with dinner.

Another while I answered emails.

Maybe one more on the couch because by then my brain was doing the thing where it reheats every conversation I had that day and adds footnotes.

I kept telling myself it was fine.

Three glasses is fine.

Everyone I know drinks three glasses.

The part I didn't admit to anyone: I couldn't get myself to stop without them.

9:15pm would arrive and something in me had already decided.

I was tired. I was mentally drained. I was on. All day.

The glass was the only thing between me and the version of the evening where I had to keep holding it all.

Then I'd wake up at 3am with my heart racing. Lie there running through tomorrow. Fall asleep at 5.

Set my alarm for 6:30.

I don't have a dramatic story.

I didn't hit a wall.

I just got tired of being tired.

I started taking the chill drops at 8:30pm instead of reaching for a glass at 9.

Not because I was trying to quit. Because I wanted to see if something else could do the thing the wine was doing — the off-switch part — without the hangover.

It worked. By the second week I was sleeping through.

By the fourth week I didn't want the wine the way I used to.

I'm not saying don't drink.

I'm saying if you're already quietly wondering if there’s another way, you're probably further along in the thinking than you let yourself admit.

There's a way through that doesn't involve rock bottom.

This is the Honest Hour. I'll be back next week with another one.

She's not just tired. She's been the one remembering the school forms, the dentist appointment, the birthday gift, the email she has to send before bed.

Her brain hasn't stopped running since 6am.

"Just tired" is the polite version of: I am the only person in this house holding everything, and nobody is holding me.

This is for the woman who has explained it a thousand times and still feels like nobody hears her. You don't need to find new words.

Save this. Send it to him.

Nobody talks about how heavy it actually is.

There are days where I feel like I'm one more thing away from just completely losing it.

Not because anything dramatic happened.

Just because I have to be a mum, and a boss, and look put together, and keep up with my friends, and make time for my relationship, and also somehow have a body that I'm at peace with. I have to do all of that at the same time.

And the wellness industry's answer to that?

Do more.
Optimize more.
Add another habit.

Nobody's talking about the fact that being a woman right now is exhausting.

Not in a broken way.

In a 'I'm carrying a lot and I've been carrying it quietly for a really long time' way.

And sometimes the most radical thing you can do is just… take a minute for yourself.

That's what this is for.

Drop RESET in the comments and I'll send you a link to our blog on how to reset for sprint. 🌿

The wellness industry spent a decade telling women to optimize harder.

Wake up earlier.
Track more.
Push through it.
Biohack your way to balance.

And we tried.
We really did.

We bought the performance supplements and downloaded the apps and set the alarms and still ended up lying awake at midnight wondering why we felt worse than before.

Here's what's actually working for us in 2026:
- less performance
- more support
- not adding another thing to the list

Swapping the things that deplete you for things that actually help your body come back to itself.

Rest isn't a reward for getting everything done.
It's how you get everything done.

Follow Thyrv Organics if you relate to this.

Nobody talks about this version of drinking.
Not the party version. Not the "I have a problem" version.

The quiet version.
The 6pm version.
The I-just-need-my-brain-to-stop version.
The glass of wine that isn't even enjoyable anymore, it's just the only thing that works.

Except it doesn't really work. You know that. You wake up at 3am anyway, mind already running, body already tired, and now you've borrowed from tomorrow too.

I did this for years before I understood what was actually happening. My nervous system was so dysregulated that I had no other way to shift gears. The wine wasn't the problem. It was the only solution I had.

When I found something that actually supported my nervous system instead of just numbing it, the shift wasn't dramatic. I didn't white-knuckle anything. I just... stopped needing it as much.

One drink instead of three. Sometimes none. Not because I was trying. I just wasn't desperate anymore.

If this is you, you're not weak. You're unsupported. There's a difference.

Nobody told us about this system.
Nobody tells us about it at the doctor.
And most CBD brands don't explain it either — they just tell you to buy something and trust it works.
We'd rather you understand why.

Your endocannabinoid system is the reason CBD does what it does. It's also the reason so many women feel like they're struggling with everything at once, because when this one system is depleted, everything it governs suffers.

Swipe to understand what's actually going on in your body. 👉
