September and October have been full of excitement for 12 Oaks managed community, Retreat at Carrollton!

The team introduced creative new engagement programs like Improv for Caregivers, honored local heroes alongside the Carrollton Fire Department during the first Fellowship with Heroes, and hosted a charming Red Hat Ladies Tea featuring a special history presentation.

They also strengthened local connections through Carrollton Power Hour and welcomed five new residents in September—with more joining throughout October. As Leasing Counselor Tony McKeel says, “Let’s do it again tomorrow!” 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of The Cedars at Woodland Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma! đź’š

It was an incredible day of connection, celebration, and community. Our Regional Vice President, Adam Bechtold, with Executive Director, Gary Frias, and Assistant Executive Director, James Cole, and the entire staff put on a fantastic event. Their outstanding dedication to the residents, their families, and the community was felt in every aspect of the celebration.

We were also thrilled to have Jake Tankersley from Season 26 of The Voice make an appearance with Jared Hard Music as they shared their incredible talent by singing for the opening.

Over the past several months, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming two outstanding HR interns to our team, Annica Efimov and Vanessa Martinez Macia.

Their dedication, hard work, and contributions have made a meaningful impact, and we’re so grateful for the energy they’ve brought to every project.

Annica, in her final semester at the University of Texas at Dallas, is eager to expand her expertise through hands-on learning.

Vanessa, also in her final semester at the University of Texas at Arlington, is passionate about contributing to meaningful projects and developing her professional skills alongside our HR team.
