Hello, beautiful followers!
I thought I would take this time to reintroduce myself since I have some new followers and I am about to begin with full energy and focus in my studio. I’m Sierra Barnes, an artist and writer. I create intuitively guided abstract and abstract figurative art. My love for art began in 2002 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and undergoing brain surgery , and I’ve been painting full-time since 2014.
My artwork is infused with crystals such as amethyst and rose quartz, each piece coming to life with a unique energy. Every painting also features a handwritten poem or positive affirmation handwritten by me on the back. The poem serves as a medium to convey my thoughts and emotions about the artwork, allowing for a deeper expression of my interpretation and connection to the piece. Beyond the canvas, I’m passionate about spreading positivity and inspiring others. I aim to create pieces that elevate and uplift spaces, both visually and energetically. I also share a bit of my personal journey, as a brain tumor thriver, to connect with all of you on a deeper level. Aside from my art I am also passionate about blogging and content creating over on my other page . Where I share other things I love such as midsize fashion, lifestyle, beauty, wellness, and spirituality.
