It was mid-March, and a high school teacher stumbled through the clinic doors. For months, she had been plagued by a relentless dizziness that left her feeling perpetually foggy, unable to teach her students properly.

Each time she turned her head, the world spun wildly, making even the simplest tasks feel insurmountable.

In three days, she was supposed to fly to Missouri to spend time with her family, a trip she had been eagerly anticipating. But the fear of vertigo striking mid-flight or ruining her visit loomed large in her mind. She was desperate for a solution, yearning to reclaim her life and her clarity.

After a thorough evaluation and treatment for BPPV, the patient never returned. But we recently heard back from her and this is what she said...

“I wanted to take time to say thank you. You diagnosed me with BPPV and treated me. I had been praying for months for my issue to be revealed and eliminated and you were an answer to that prayer! Attached is a picture of our family on a hike in Missouri the weekend after I saw you. I am so thankful for your expertise that gave me back my life in just an hour session!”

But when you live with dizziness, even the smallest moments can feel impossible. It can leave you feeling trapped, anxious, and alone.

You shouldn’t have to live that way.

There are answers.
There is hope.
And you can feel steady again.

Dizziness can make even the simplest tasks feel exhausting.

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken.

Your brain is doing more than it should have to.

Healing from dizziness can feel frustrating—slow, unpredictable, and sometimes like you’re not getting anywhere at all. But that doesn’t mean it’s not working.

The progress is in the showing up.
The consistency. The patience. The courage to keep going.

If you’ve started a plan, stay the course. Your brain is learning—even when it doesn’t feel like it.

You’ve probably heard that 8 hours is ideal—but for women, that might not be enough.

Hormonal shifts like PMS, postpartum, and perimenopause can disrupt sleep—and that matters, because your brain and inner ear rely on quality rest to stay balanced.

Add in mental load and multitasking? Your system is working overtime.

Here’s the truth: Women often need closer to 8.5–9 hours of sleep—especially during hormonally intense phases.

If your dizziness feels worse after a poor night’s sleep, it’s not in your head. Prioritizing rest might be one of the most powerful (and free) tools in your recovery.

Spring is in the air—and so is the return of that unsettling dizziness.

When your sinuses clog and inner ear pressure rises, your vestibular system, your center for balance, may feel the effects and disrupt your balance.

While it might feel instinctive to stay still, gentle movement can actually help.

Try this:
🌱 While seated, slowly turn your head side to side.
🌱 Then, gently tilt your head up and down.
🌱 Repeat these motions a few times, breathing steadily.

This encourages your vestibular system to recalibrate, easing that foggy sensation.

If spring has you feeling off-kilter, know that relief is possible.

Vestibular therapy offers targeted strategies to restore your balance.

There’s a simple trick that can help!

Instead of looking down at your feet, try fixing your gaze on a point straight ahead. This helps your brain process balance signals more effectively, making each step feel steadier.

Give it a try next time you’re out and see if it makes a difference!
