Say hello to Angelique Watkins, our Director of Activities at Cross Timbers!

With over 15 years of experience in long-term care and memory care, Angelique has served as a CNA, Med Tech, and Life Enrichment Coach. Her passion for resident care shines through in everything she does.

You can always find her helping wherever she’s needed, going above and beyond to make life more enjoyable for our residents. She loves creating lifelong memories with residents and their families — and you can always count on a good time and a party when she’s around! 🎉💙

Love was in the air at Cross Timbers this Valentine’s Day! 💘

Staff and residents enjoyed handmade cards and Valentine’s treat bags lovingly created by our residents. Special thanks to Latoya (HR) for the delicious chocolate-covered strawberries that completed our bags! 🍓✨

Progress isn’t always a straight line. 💙

Sometimes the journey to getting better comes with hurdles — but with optimism, determination, and hard work, incredible things can happen.

Mr. Cook is the perfect example. When he first arrived at Cross Timbers, he was able to get around without an assistive device. After experiencing a few setbacks where he could barely stand or get out of bed, he never gave up.

Today, he’s back to walking again — with one goal in mind: to go home to his wife. 🏡❤️

We are beyond proud of your strength and perseverance, Mr. Cook. Keep pushing forward! 👏

Today was a huge milestone for Tom Schiller! 💪
After months of being unable to put weight on his foot due to a non-healing wound, he took his first steps in therapy.

Small steps. Big victory. 👏
We’re so proud of his perseverance and determination as he continues moving forward.
