Alcon Laboratories has voluntarily recalled on one lot of Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Ultra PF (Lot 10101) due to possible fungal contamination. These are packaged in single use vials with 25 vials per box and have an expiration date of 09/2025. If you have this particular lot, stop using them immediately and return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.

North Texas EyeMD remains open during the COVID-19 pandemic to serve your medical needs. If you have a fever, an upper respiratory infection, or have traveled out of the country in the last two weeks, please let us know prior to your visit so that we can take proper infection control precautions, or if your visit is non-urgent, consider rescheduling.

We are vigilant in our infection control procedures and disinfect our exam rooms after every patient. We have also increased the frequency of our disinfection protocols for our waiting areas and other areas of our office. During this time, we are also making sure that our wait times are minimal to maintain "social distancing".

If you have a routine visit scheduled and have a compromised immune system, you may want to consider postponing your exam.
