The most difficult aspect in the month is Mars opposing Saturn and Neptune, which is exact on August 8. Around the Full Moon on August 9, Mars opposes Saturn/Neptune, and at the same time, there is a rare grand earth trine with Uranus, Mars, and Pluto.

Normally, trines are considered positive, but in this instance, I believe it merely connects these planets associated with sudden, unexpected changes. Again, we may not see what’s coming before it arrives.

This is a powerful indication of grief connected to storms and water. For reference, transiting Jupiter was in Ardra during the attacks of September 11, 2001. This is not a good place for Jupiter, and Venus can accentuate it more.

On August 11, Mercury turns direct @ 10 degrees Cancer, signaling a shift in momentum. This degree falls in the U.S. chart’s 8th house, so expect corruption and scandals to surface during this time.
