The Starch Solution The Starch Solution is an easy to follow program, promoting optimal health and permanent weight loss with low-fat, oil free, plant-based diet.

It is based on clean and unprocessed starches that provide fiber, nutrients and great flavor and variety. Gustavo Tolosa, Plant-Based Advocate and Starch Solution Coach, started this page when, after years of searching for the right answer, he found Dr. McDougall's Program and lost 70 pounds in 9 months and have kept them off until the present. Finding the correct scientific and medical information is crucial if one is to succeed. Nobody can maintain a diet in which one is hungry all the time. A low-fat, OIL FREE, starch-based diet with the addition of green, yellow, orange and red vegetables as well as fruits is the only diet that will keep you satisfied and be low enough in calories and fat to promote permanent weight loss. Hello and happy Tuesday! Here is what’s for lunch today. Salad, green sauté and lentil stew. Salad has lettuces, arugula, celery, carrots, beets, tomatoes, 1 apple, 1/2 onion then I will sprinkle h**p hearts and balsamic vinegar. The sauté has onions, garlic, mushrooms, red cabbage, spinach, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce and other spices/herbs. The lentil stew is my mother’s creation.

For dinner today a huge salad with everything finely chopped. Lettuce, arugula and celery from my garden, shredded carrots, chopped beets, tomatoes, red apples and red onion. Ten I put h**p hearts, sunflower seeds and everything bagel mix. I used pomegranate balsamic and lemon balsamic. I had a few cold potatoes in the refrigerator and ate those as a side.

Hello! Delicious lunch with a combination of leftovers and new ingredients. I started sautéing a medium onion, chopped. Then added lightly steamed chopped spinach and half of a chopped tomato I had laying around. Mixed it and added spices like spicy curry powder, turmeric, powder mustard, Toasted Everything spice mix, lemon juice. Then I added my leftover chickpeas that had onions, garlic, mushrooms and green cabbage. It tastes amazing.
