Women in Medicine Month

Celebrating women in medicine on our social media channels

Yesterday, we shared that September is Women in Medicine Month, highlighting a special website that profiles our female faculty and physicians. We hope to continue to bring visibility to the service and success of women at UTSW while advocating for ongoing concerns that women on campus experience, as well as those health issues impacting female patients.

The women highlighted were nominated by their department chairs as representing the very best of the values and mission of UT Southwestern. Some of them are also getting a social media spotlight, such as Susan Matulevicius, M.D., (on Twitter), and Shilpa Chitnis, M.D., Ph.D. (on Instagram).
