Back when NBA player Jason Kidd played in the league, he turned to therapy to help manage the physical demands of a long professional career.

After years of back, knee, and foot injuries, Kidd began using hyperbaric therapy to support recovery and reduce the everyday aches that come with high-level competition.

Inside the chamber, oxygen is delivered under pressure, allowing it to reach not just the bloodstream but deep into the body’s tissues. This increased oxygen delivery helps cells function better and supports the healing process.

Kidd credits the therapy with helping him recover faster and continue playing at a high level later in his career.

Athletes push their bodies to the limit. Recovery is what keeps them in the game.

"Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy by no means heals autism, but it has certainly helped my son's symptoms."

Some of the benefits of HBOT for sytmptoms of Autism include:

🗣️ Improved Communication Skills – HBOT has been linked to enhanced communication abilities, including improved vocabulary, language comprehension, and speech articulation, helping individuals with autism express themselves more effectively.

⬇️ Reduced Sensory Sensitivities – HBOT may help decrease sensory sensitivities and sensitivities to specific stimuli, leading to increased comfort and reduced anxiety in sensory-rich environments.

🤝 Enhanced Social Interaction – Some studies suggest that HBOT can improve social skills, including recognizing and interpreting social cues, fostering more meaningful connections and interactions.

😮‍💨 Better Behavioral Regulation – HBOT may contribute to better behavioral regulation, leading to reduced occurrences of repetitive behaviors, tantrums, and hyperactivity.

🎧 Increased Attention and Focus – HBOT has been associated with improved attention and focus, helping individuals with autism engage more effectively in educational and therapeutic activities.

🍏 Alleviation of Gastrointestinal Symptoms – HBOT may aid in alleviating gastrointestinal symptoms often associated with autism, providing relief from issues like constipation and digestive problems.

🫧 Promotion of Neuroplasticity – HBOT’s ability to increase oxygen levels in the brain may support neuroplasticity, facilitating brain reorganization and the development of new neural pathways.

🧠✨ New Study Alert! ✨🧠

A double-blind randomized trial investigated the effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO₂) on persistent symptoms after brain injury. (nature.com)

(Participants received either 40 HBO₂ sessions or 40 sham sessions over 12 weeks)

**Key Findings**

The HBO₂ group showed significant improvement in:
➕ Olfaction
➕ Anxiety
➕ Sleep difficulties
➕ Vestibular complaints

Both groups reported improvements in:
➕ Depression
➕ Headaches
➕ PTSD symptoms
➕ Physical quality of life
➕ Daily life interference

This study suggests HBO₂ therapy may offer real benefits for post-brain injury recovery.

Even elite athletes deal with injuries, fatigue, and the wear and tear of competition.

Recovery becomes more challenging as athletes get older and competition intensifies. For many professionals, therapies that support tissue repair and recovery can play an important role in staying in the game.

By delivering oxygen under increased pressure, HBOT helps push oxygen beyond the bloodstream and into tissues throughout the body. This process supports cellular function and promotes healing in muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

According to the American Diabetes Association, approximately 20% of diabetics will need an amputation due to a non-healing diabetic wound.

However, when Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is added to the wound treatment protocol, 87% of those amputations can be avoided.

After a traumatic birth injury caused a hypoxic brain injury and stroke, Hannah’s family began searching for therapies that could support her recovery.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) works by delivering 100% oxygen under increased pressure, allowing oxygen to reach tissues throughout the body more effectively. Treatments are typically done in a series of sessions over several weeks to support healing and cellular function.

For Hannah, her family noticed meaningful changes. She became more relaxed, more alert, more vocal, and her response time improved. Over time, her overall level of function improved compared to where she started.

Every child’s path is different, but stories like this are why many families explore hyperbaric therapy as part of a broader rehabilitation plan.

Breathe in. One session at a time.

With Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, we provide oxygen to the entire body by putting you in a chamber under pressure (roughly 15 pounds per square inch). This pushes oxygen not just into your bloodstream, but to all of the tissues in your body to promote healing to help your cells function better.

How HBOT Supports the Brain 🧠

The brain depends on oxygen to carry out every repair, signaling, and regulatory process. HBOT works by increasing the amount of oxygen dissolved in the bloodstream under controlled pressure. This enhanced oxygen delivery supports the body’s natural repair mechanisms and healthy neurological function.

HBOT is often used as supportive care for:

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Stroke (CVA) recovery
• Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
• Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline
• Post-concussion syndrome
• And related neurological conditions
