[08/31/18] There is a *possibility* that I may be able to offer some sessions for the month of October. If I came out of *retirement* for the month, would you likely book a session?
It’s been a minute since I have shared a post! Flying has had me up in the air a little more than I expected. This week saw me all over the map... the best stop was Boston. I couldn’t decide on lobster rolls, so I settled for 3 — lobster, crab and shrimp 🤷🏻♀️ ... after this week of flying I think I need a massage! 💆🏻♀️✈️💛
A quick update from the Sunshine State ☀️
I am days away from taking my final and graduating from my training course. In the next few days I should know more about my schedule and have a date for my return to Dallas.
I will be able to offer more info soon as to the commencement of massage sessions and the redemption of gift cards. I thank you all for your continued patience, understanding and support!

Hello Friends, from sunny Ft Lauderdale!
I survived my first week of Flight Attendant Training, 9hrs a day with my first day off today (study day!)
Just wanted to check in and let you all know how much I miss you. Each of you have been on my mind and in my heart.
Hope everyone is keeping well! Keeping up with your body awareness, your self observations, and making those little self adjustments to help serve your mind, body and spirit. Remember, there is so much that YOU can do to treat your own self too! 💛
For those of you who I may not have replied to yet, I do apologize. Days have been hectic with winding down 360 Massage Therapy and preparing for my next adventure.
If you are in need of a referral for a Massage Therapist, I would like to suggest Christina Townson. She is located within the same space and we have worked closely together for several years. We were actually room mates at a popular Dallas spa! Please find her at www.rejuvenatewithchristina.com
You may also consider Christopher Metcalf who is a familiar face at Whole Foods Chair Massage across Dallas, and who also has a space within the Kidwell St location. He is a very nurturing therapist who also offers Thai Massage. We have also shared space at the same aforementioned popular Dallas area spa.
I ask that you be patient with scheduling with either Therapist as they will be incorporating into their already existing schedule.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this announcement. I have rehearsed it over and over again, asking "how am I going to word this?" ... the answer has not been clear or easy.
As of Saturday, February 24th, 2018 - 360 Massage Therapy will be closed for 4 weeks. During this time, I will be attending a training session that will require my full concentration and focus for a new position that I have chosen to explore, as a Flight Attendant.
Upon my return at the end of March, my hope is to schedule a handful more sessions before I vacate my space for a final time.
Once I successfully complete my full training program and I become more familiar with my new role, demands, and scheduling as a Flight Attendant - I do hope to continue with Massage Therapy on a limited/part time basis. However, as much as I wish I could, I cannot make any guarantees and I will not know what this will look like until that time.
As I am sure you may sense, and as I have expressed - Massage Therapy and YOU are so dear to me and my heart. It is not just something that I do as a job, but it is a Lifestyle and a true honor for me to be a part of the healing arts, and a part of your personal journey. I am so deeply humbled to have this opportunity to facilitate something so nurturing and therapeutic and beautiful. I'm touched to be known as a Certified Esalen Practitioner, for my time and exploration spent at Esalen Institute, and to be able to bring this forward to your experience that you have so graciously opened yourself up to. A Million Thank You's still doesn't measure up to the gratitude I have for YOU.
My next chapter in my path happened somewhat accidentally. I had filled out an application online simply for the experience of completing a job application. It's been a long while since I've done so, or sat thru an interview process. Months passed by without hearing a word.. until recently. When I was offered the position, my immediate initial reaction was to turn it down. But after sitting with it for some time, and really processing the news - I decided that Life is about adventure and as we say at Esalen, "exploring your maximum human potential". One question that I did ask myself was, "if I decline this opportunity, will I regret it?" and the answer was "yes - I would regret not ever knowing if I could do it". Especially since, it had been a dream for me to fly the skies since my early 20's, and a missed opportunity to work with Air Canada as a Flight Attendant during my years living in Toronto.
When most people leave a job, they write a resignation letter to their employer and usually, most will feel a sense of relief to walk out that door. For me to write this letter to a long list of people who I have grown to love and consider friends and family, is the most difficult task I have ever had to do. If anyone would like a referral to continue their path of Massage Therapy, I am happy to forward on details of other Therapists who I feel will meet your needs.
Over the next while, I appreciate your patience as I begin this transition. The schedule will be closed for now, but will re-open as appropriate.
If you have a gift certificate(s) or prepaid session(s) requiring redemption, or if you have gifted a gift certificate(s) to someone, I am happy to honor it with an in-office visit (schedule permitting), or on an out-call basis visit to your home (again, schedule permitting).

After being gone from New York for almost 6 months as I was catching up with old friends I found sadly how so many have been suffering with pain for months. These are people who know me and my work for many years, but somehow because they were not suffering, were never interested in their own Body Sustainability. One having been diagnosed with 3 herniated cervical discs with nerve pain down both arms and scheduled for 2 knee replacements, mentioned how he wants to continue playing tennis for ever. He told me about 2 friends that have had knee replacements and they are back playing tennis, only doubles now. They feel great and highly recommend the surgery. The other person there had just gone brought his second hip replacement and they were marveling at how good he was walking. I left this dinner truly sad. The idea that each and every one of us must care for our bodies is not common practice. Often times, during a massage session you will be asked to take a deep breath, focusing on your inhale and then your exhale. And yes- breath work is a valuable and powerful tool to aid in calming and relaxation.
But the following does have so much truth to it. Next time you are asked to breathe, make it your own experience
An excerpt from Yamuna:
When someone you know is under a lot of stress and you tell them to take a deep breath, you think you are helping them to get centered no relax. Often, this deep breath is taken to please you rather than to calm the person down.
To actually use the breath to breathe peace within, you need to stop and focus on your breathing. Taking one deep breath might pause the person for a moment, but the actual use of breath for calming and centering needs a quiet place and time to simply breathe and watch the breath and see where it can actually go, and what feelings it gives when you spend time with it. The breath needs time to actually fully work as a healing tool that you can always call on. Many people need to learn how to use their breath as the powerful healing tool that it is. Making it simple without too many instructions so it is always easy for people do work with is key.
