The Ostomy Resolutions Stoma Guard is a no-slip, two-part system that is anchored in place around the flanges of a two piece ostomy appliance, or the pouch to skin barrier weld connection of a one piece appliance by form-fitted clothing. ons like a pressure garment to support the abdomen and to apply pressure to the face of the guard, which presses the guard's snap-on, soft touch adapter against the taped portion of a skin barrier, allowing one to forgo use of a belt under jeans or slacks. Alternately, the guard has holes for a variety of one inch elastic appliance belts for stomas located above the waistline or when wearing low rise jeans. The guard allows flow, prevents ballooning of the pouch above a waistband, maintains adhesion of the skin barrier, protects the stoma from inadvertent bumps, and much more.
