This page has been created to allow a brave young boy to share his story with the world and gain support in obtaining a better quality of life. Since birth, Landen has faced many health battles, more than any person should ever have to experience in a lifetime. Although his battle hasn’t been easy, he continues to amaze all of those around him with his positivity and charisma. One of Landen’s bigg
est wishes is to be able to experience all of the fun activities that boys his age look forward to ie: sleepovers, camping, sleeping in his own big boy bed, etc. Landen yearns for a sense of independence. With all of his medical issues, he is unable to leave his house without a backpack full of medicine and his Mom or Grandma by his side at all times. Landen isn’t able to do anything without constant supervision due to the fact that he may have a seizure at any moment. Landen’s mom lives in constant fear due to all of Landen’s medical issues. She knows it isn’t fair to him to have a constant shadow, but she’s terrified of him seizing and her not being there the second it happens to help him. Landen deserves a sense of normalcy. We can help Landen achieve a bit of that with the assistance of a service dog. Having a service dog would not only give Landen the independence he so desperately needs, it will also give his Mom some peace of mind. Obtaining a service dog is a lengthy and costly process. Without the generosity of the community, his dream of having a furry companion would be impossible. Please help us rally together and unite Landen with a brighter future that includes a service dog.
