If there is one form of abuse that I personally think is extremely cruel it is Parental Alienation. Sadly it is more often than not but not limited to women who HATE their EX more than they love their children, and the best way to make their ex suffer is to use the children as pawns.

This is WRONG & CRUEL. PARENTAL ALIENATION is one of the MANY forms of CHILD ABUSE that is recognized worldwide as the most damaging to all children that are forced to endure this pain, and separation from a parent who they love so much. Emotional Abuse in a home is considered Domestic Abuse and as it's still a parent in the home, in general, that is forcing the child to be alienated from the other parent that then makes PARENTAL ALIENATION also a form of Domestic Abuse, it is CRIMINAL in my opinion.

No child ever asked to be born, no child ever asked to have a specific set of parents ALL that any child asks for is to be loved unconditionally, to be cared for, fed, clothed, receive education and medical care. But the one thing that NO CHILD should ever be forced to do is to CHOOSE between Mom & Dad, and if they choose to want to spend time with dad then that can cause issues for them with mom, as some women just hate their exes more than they love their children and they make the children feel guilty for loving their dad and wanting to spend time with him. This is CRUEL and is forced Emotional Child Abuse, far too many women inflict this and it has to stop.

SOME MEN are also guilty of inflicting this abuse but in general, I have to say that some women need to wake up and put their children BEFORE their own need for revenge. If a child/children have a loving dad then DO NOT stop that relationship, instead, encourage it as that is what a real parent would do.

CHILDREN COME FIRST & TO THOSE ALIENATING THEIR CHILDREN FROM YOUR EX, ALL THAT I HAVE TO SAY TO YOU IS SHAME ON YOU!

Many people will have suffered in life from all sorts of issues, some from abuse and others just from the hardships that life can force onto us all at times. But instead of feeling sorry for yourself, instead of sitting back and giving in what you should do is to USE those wounds, USE that pain and anger to not only make a difference to your own life but to the lives of others.

Inspiring and Motivating yourself can be really hard to do, yet when you get there and you see how things can change that is when you should use that wisdom of your life, the pain, and anger that you felt to help others who right now are where you once were in life.

Inspiring others by sharing your past, sharing your life is not you looking for sympathy, it's simply you saying I know where you're at and the darkness that has overcome you. BUT like me, you can get through it and this is what you do. Help others who perhaps can't help themselves right now, be their voice until they find that strength to be their own.

Any man, woman or child that has endured or is currently going through any form of abuse, I am sure that you like me can resonate with this poster. Although life is still not easy I know it's slowly getting there and that one day soon like all of you, my dreams will become my reality. As victims of abuse we become SURVIVORS but to do so we have to have the strength of a lion and we do.

Far too many people in our society JUDGE others simply because they feel entitled to do so. BUT that needs to stop, as nobody ever knows what tomorrow will bring, nobody EVER asks to be a victim of abuse in life and by judging that man, woman or child that walks past you in the street, and has perhaps bruising on their body that is visible, looks like they were crying or haven't slept in a very long time. DO NOT JUDGE THEM as you don't know what they are going through, you don't know the pain, the fear and more so you don't know if tomorrow that might be you.

I know that many judge me in life, they see my posts, they see my scars if they meet me in person and I used to allow this ignorance to control me. Not anymore as now like you should I wear those scars with pride, I use that pain and fear constructively to help others and I know that inside I am stronger than any fist, any kick and or any person who feels that they are entitled to judge me without even knowing me.

It may seem old fashioned to many in our society today, but I was raised with Respect - Discipline - Dignity-Integrity sadly values that so many in our world are missing today, YET values and traits that are so important and would help us all to live in a safer, more respectful and happier society.

Manners cost nothing yet they are forgotten by so many. Respect is earned in life not a given, but if somebody has earned respect then you honor that no matter what. Discipline we all should have in our own lives and ensure that our children are also raised with it so that they know that there are consequences for their actions in life and in turn, this and all the other traits above will help to make them valuable members of our community and society, something we all should want and strive to do

When you are strong or seen to the world as not allowing anything to bother you, sadly this means that you very often have to suffer in silence. As when nobody knows or wants to know your issues, your pain or how alone you may be feeling we develop a defense mechanism that puts a barrier up keeping all others out.

BUT even the strongest people in the world need to have others to care for them, These people will use their pain, their demons, their frustration not to make you feel sorry for them or to ask for your help NO they will use that as the driving force behind them so that they can reach out and help others.

Remember looks can be deceiving, just because somebody looks and sounds strong it DOESN'T mean that they aren't cloaking their pain as to allow the world to see that they are hurting is to open up themselves to the views of others and to allow them to see the real person inside. So most will live life hiding this pain, suffering in silence when the reality is they need to share it with somebody, anybody and be free from it.

LIFE IS FOR LIVING & NOT SIMPLY EXISTING IN IT.

I know that this photo is GRAPHIC but that sadly is the reality of CHILD ABUSE, it's not something that should be sugarcoated, the reality is for many children the image that you see of this little girls face.

This photo is probably now making you angry, feeling sick and thinking that it's photoshopped, REALITY CHECK this is not photoshopped this is the sad reality and the result of horrific child abuse that this little girl suffered. Look at her face, imagine her pain, her fear and the damage that has been done to her not just physically, but emotionally which will have caused her a lifetime of mental health and emotional issues. This was done by apparently those that LOVED HER

If this is what some consider love then I would hate to see what they would do to somebody that they hated in life. We NEED to speak out, the SILENCE that is ENABLING this form of abuse MUST STOP. I know it's sickening, I hate to see these images, to know that kids are living like this until we can get them help BUT if we stay silent we are ONLY protecting the ABUSER & we should be ONLY protecting his/her VICTIMS

Stories For The Soul

Officer Tim Purdy was dispatched to a situation involving a young autistic high school student who left the campus and may have been suicidal.

Due to the young man’s neuro-developmental disorder, he also had a history of displaying violent behavior.

In order to build a connection with the young man, Officer Purdy sat next to him on the ground, talked things through and even got him laughing.

Officer Purdy established trust and a relationship that allowed officers to get this young man the help that he so desperately needed.

There’s more to policing than making arrests and enforcing the law. Sometimes taking those extra little steps makes the biggest difference in someone’s life.

Awareness 22

This is a picture the military has never let anyone see until now.
This is a picture behind the scenes at Dover Air Force Base where the bodies of fallen soldiers are prepared for burial.
And that includes being properly dressed, all the way down to the smallest detail.

In this picture Staff Sgt. Miguel Deynes is making sure the uniform is just right for an army pilot recently killed in Afghanistan.

There is a very specific process once a fallen soldier is returned home.

The Fallen Heroes are flown back to the U.S. on a cargo jet.
A team of service members wearing white gloves carries the coffins, covered with flags, to a white van that takes them to the Armed Forces Medical Examiner.

The Heroes are washed, the hands are scrubbed clean, and the hair is shampooed. If necessary bones are wired together and damaged tissue is reconstructed with flesh-toned wax.

Sometimes they will use photos, sometimes just intuition to recreate the wrinkles in faces, and the lines around the mouth or the corner of the eyes. “It has to look normal, like someone who is sleeping.” Once the Hero is ready then the uniform is prepared.
That includes putting medals in the proper order on the ribbon rack above the jacket’s breast pocket.

During the height of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan 10 to 20 Fallen a Heroes were arriving every day.

The embalmers often worked all night to get the Heroes home on time. That can take an emotional toll so the mortuary has a large gym so workers can blow off steam.

Many say they are haunted by how young the fallen soldiers are, and by how many of them leave behind small children.

That’s why Sgt. Deynes says they are advised not to do research into the backgrounds of the soldiers. “If I knew the story of every individual who went through here, I would probably be in a padded cell.” The dress uniform being prepared in this particular case will be in a closed casket.

Even so, it will be perfectly tailored, starched and pressed. Everything will be checked down to the last detail.

Sgt. Deynes says, “They’re (the family) not going to see it. I do it for myself. It’s more than an honor it’s a blessing to dress that soldier for the last time.”
