📢 Staff Spotlight: Luke Flood – Director of Integrative Health

Luke Flood serves as the Director of Integrative Health at Cardinal Recovery Center, also known as The Wayfinder. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Luke moved to Texas in 2017 as part of a life-changing journey that now fuels his work every day.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Licensed Dietitian in Texas, Luke blends clinical nutrition expertise with a strong background in training and performance. His approach focuses on whole person recovery, helping clients rebuild physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Luke has been active in the recovery community since 2014 through his own sobriety journey. Because of this experience, he understands that real transformation requires more than abstinence. It requires discipline, ownership, and consistent daily action.

At Cardinal Recovery Center, Luke challenges clients to rebuild from the inside out, developing structure, accountability, and resilience that support lasting change.

His mission is simple: help people become stronger in every area of life. Recovery is the starting line. From there, it’s about purpose, performance, and proving to yourself what you’re truly capable of.

In behavioral healthcare, we often prioritize "why" a person struggles. But under stress, people don't rise to their level of clinical insight, they fall back on what they have practiced.

At Cardinal House Recovery, we treat therapy as a training ground. We move beyond the "story" to help men practice new physiological and relational responses until they become reliable under pressure.

By the time a client leaves our care, they haven't just learned about regulation; they have built the internal capacity to live it.

👉What specific practices help you stay regulated when your pressure rises?
