If you know you need to do something, why not today?
I’ve been sitting on the sideline of my own physical health in regards to activity. Don’t get me wrong. I do a lot, I go a lot, but I’ve not been actively moving my body consistently. I’ve known this for a while and keep putting it off, prioritizing other things and it was time to stop!
Today I joined some friends, out of the 100* temps, indoors this morning and walked. It was fabulous! Visiting with friends while working up a sweat felt so good!! What do you need to start today?

I was watching a show and one of the main characters said: “Dangerous things are supposed to come with warning labels!”⛔️⚠️☢️
That’s it!! 🤯😱
This is what changed me 12 years ago as I started down the journey of ditching toxins and started to uncover all the ugly truths of the toxic chemicals in so many of our everyday things we use…yet there were no recalls being issued or warning labels…unlike the many recalls I listed below for validation, these things are approved: laundry detergent and all your cleaners for that fact, even though they are proven neurotoxins, carcinogens and endocrine disruptors, personal care products like bath and body washes, soaps, lotions, deodorants, your baby products, candles, shampoos, toothpaste, shaving cream, makeup,etc. And, let’s not forget our processed foods and especially meat sources!!
Skipping food for a minute, Anything that touches your skin, 26 seconds and it’s in. And when you add up the microdoses of so many toxins throughout the days, no wonder there are so many health problems.

One day or Day One... today I knew closets had to be priority, starting with ours! Clutter can’t live here any longer. I’m on a path to destroy it😉 and it tends to hide in the closets!
Fall officially started yesterday, so perfect timing to pull out those sweaters, freshen up any stores clothes, hang neatly ( and color-coded of course) anything you will wear this season. Box up summer and make room!

I was thinking today about the journey we’ve been on. Oh, what a journey it is! Whoever first coined “Life is an adventure” might have grossly underestimated the weight of that statement. I look at this picture and Love what it represents.
💭Through trials and time, we are still living A Well Life.
💭During a time when there are plenty of unknowns, we are able to relax and enjoy a fun date
💭even at the end of the month, a little spoiling is an option
💭the love and support between us allows for a growth mindset, hope and a future
💭The Lord has a strategic plan for us, and I’m loving the continual discovery phase
💭 I love that we are surrounded by excellent friendships that are like a rainbow 🌈 Don’t tear each other down, but challenge one another and lift each other up.

Do you get enough fiber on the daily? Let us know! Fiber is very important for a healthy gut and most aren’t getting the recommended daily amount. Fiber not only promotes a healthy gut to support your immune system, it also helps controls blood sugar, attain a healthy weight, lowers cholesterol, and helps you live longer. The Institute of Medicine recommends 38 grams per day for men and 25 grams for women. We are planning to knock a few more spring cleaning things off the list, including the pantry and fridge to prep for our challenge starting Monday, the 11th! We would love for you to join us!!

RESET! Are you ready?
Enough is enough! There has been something going on during this time at home... and I’m ready for a RESET. I never have chosen to use the coined term “new normal”. I’ve wrestled with the fact that, yes, some things have changed through this time of quarantine, but I expect this NOT to be the way things stay.

What has effected most people besides the obvious, is the challenge to our daily habits, our mental health and physical wellness. I heard that the average person has gained 8 pounds, so we are here to invite you in! Want to join us as we refocus? Start over? Create new habits? Happy Monday!
Sometimes living A WELL LIFE is about having the right “tools” available when you need them. Today, that “tool” is a quick meal that is still healthy and meets my needs. Jeff and I both have back to back meetings ( virtually) so no time to cook breakfast. We love eggs, but no time🤷‍♀️ And, not eating isn’t really my style!
The Attain Nutrition Bars are always in our pantry and I LOVE this one ( Sweet and Salty Nut😋) I did think about sharing the last bite, but not today😂
