“OOM accomplishes what all good psychological art films should - it throws an impactful, abstract cacophony of profound meaning at you from all angles...forcing you to think fundamentally about reality and humanity.”
“The HENDERSON film premier was incredible! His art, perception and insight is amazing.”
“The film was mesmerizing and thought-provoking... I find myself still thinking through the scenes a week later.”

When confronted with the petty, the propagators of gossip, the judgmental who tell you you must always live in your past and never look to your future, keep silent in their presence, let them talk...and then RISE UP when they are sleeping, live with an unmitigated purpose that accepts mistakes as the means to deeper knowledge, weakness as a starting point for greater strength, and compassion as the only weapon against hatred!

How we're processing mass acts of violence

First time doing a Facebook live interview with WFAA Channel 8. Thank you Hannah Davis for giving me the opportunity to advocate for the importance of caring for our mental health!

Experts weigh in on maintaining mental health after a national tragedy

The Take home from my interview with CW33: Any day could be our last, so live each day with intention and purpose!!

Experts weigh in on maintaining mental health after a national tragedy DALLAS- After witnessing ISIS, mass shootings, and natural disasters, it's easy to let yourself start living in fear. "We create a fear that even in our day to day, like what happened yesterday, that we could be riding our bicycle or all of a sudden we find ourselves having an attack or having a lov...

If you are suffering silently, it's time to reach out! There is still time to choose to be the hero in your life's story, not the villain.

Hi all, I am going to be on channel WFAA-TV's live noon newscast talking about the psychology behind mass shootings like the one in Vegas. Please pray that I can provide informative responses to the questions but also hope to those who are hurting right now!! Thanks!!

Hi all, i don't often request things from my followers but I need someone who is willing to do a television news story with me. I need someone willing to talk on camera about how the election and aftermath has increased your anxiety/depression or worsened some aspect of your mental health. You'd be talking from the perspective of a client. PM me if you are interested! Thanks so much!

Enjoyed getting a chance to hang out with the folks from Real News PR and do a quick impromptu podcast!

One year ago today, I got my first copies of my book, My Teenage Zombie: Resurrecting the Undead Adolescent in Your Home. I'm so humbled by the opportunity to have put my thoughts on paper and share a message of hope with parents of struggling teens!

An adolescent’s risk of recurrent psychotic-like experiences jumps 159% when marijuana use shifts from occasional to daily or even weekly use, according to a study published online in The Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.

The reward of enduring relationships comes through watching and waiting! When you've had a client, a friend, a family member who breaks your heart with their story of suffering and pain and you stay present with them for days, months or even years in order to have that one moment where something clicks, where the pain is lifted, and the narrative changes from tragedy to triumph, you can't help but cheer!

Excited to be speaking at this event on the subject of the four biggest fears parents face in raising teenagers. Hope you can make it!
