If you’ve ever been told you need an MRI, it’s normal to have questions — especially when it comes to a brain MRI.

A brain MRI or brain screening is often ordered to evaluate concerns such as tumors, TIA (mini stroke), aneurysms, narrowed or blocked blood vessels, vascular malformations, and blood flow patterns in the brain. The scan provides detailed images of brain tissue to help your care team make informed decisions.
