We are having a picnic on October 5th (Sunday) at 1 pm. It will be at Flagpole Hill, same place as the last picnic. It is a covered pavilion at the top of the hill beside the playground.

This location has a nice covered pavilion with 5 large picnic tables underneath and lots of open space still under the roof. There are many tables in addition to these. You can still bring a chair to sit in the open space under the pavillon. There is also an awesome playground for kids and lots of open space. With the covered area we can get together even if it is raining. It is reserved for our group the entire day. You are welcome to go before 1pm. I will be there early.

With the legislative session over, we need to have fun together and support each other.

I have also included the link to bring food if you can. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and water will be provided. Last time I brought too much food. If possible, bring something to cover your food so the flies stay away.

I wanted to share my list of transgender organization resources. If you aren't plugged in, think about joining in. It can really help! Especially in our nutso world right now.

There are a number of transgender and gender diverse social groups in Texas. The list of groups has really exploded over the years. And this list is not complete I’m sure.
