Happy Earth Day!

Our very own WWII veteran (yes, we like to keep veterans in-house here at The Gentry Agency!), C.B. Perdue, sat down for an interview with our senior strategist, Rachel Hedstrom, for an interview. The resulting blog post was something that our professional organization, the Public Relations Society of America, chose to run on its worldwide blog. It led content on the home page this morning.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Monday, November 11, is Veterans' Day. The service of our men and women in uniform is truly our best national treasure. We take the opportunity to thank them any chance we get. THANK YOU to the men and women who have served, and those who are serving now.

Today, The Gentry Agency lays to rest its inspiration and its hero. Thank you, Basil, for all you taught us. Your spirit and work ethic will live on through our memories and our dedication to good work. We love you and will miss you.

Basil Gentry passed away on August 6, 2019 at the age of 93 in Garland, Texas. Funeral Home Services for Basil are being provided by Charles W. Smith and Sons, Sachse. The obituary was featured in Dallas Morning News on August 11, 2019.
