I was listening to npr this morning and they had a compilation poem taken from kids finishing the prompt, “love is...” the whole poem was amazing but the best part was the last line. “Love is a safe place to be.”

As we continue to focus on our first chakra in class this week, nothing could resonate more than this. We often think of this day, and of love in terms of romance. However our deepest and purest connection to ourselves and the world is the essence of love that never leaves us, but we certainly can shut out this essential part of living.
