Recalibrate: to calibrate (something) again.
Life, plans, systems... gradually drift off course so that we periodically need a fresh point of reference to recalibrate the system.
I’d like to share a little bit of my heart, my personal story and the invaluable lesson I’ve learned.
When my family made the decision embark on a new journey and launch Kaleo, our non-profit and ministry we launched in Dallas and now expanded to San Francisco, we knew that we would need to add additional income streams to our portfolio. We had to recalibrate.
This has been an exciting development involving various entrepreneurial endeavors and interests that I will frequently discuss on this page. The big ideas I share will be related to my 1) financial business where we help individuals, non-profits, and churches 2) our newest company (VASAYO) where we have literally found ourselves sitting at the table with the owner/founders to help launch this legacy company, 3) urban ministry related concepts, and 4) coaching environments we create for individuals and couples.
Here is what we know... The growth of the gig economy represents a shift in the way Americans view work. Instead of a more traditional system where a worker works full-time for only one employer, some workers choose to enter the gig economy for the flexibility, freedom and personal fulfillment that it provides them.
