How many times in your life have you heard how we need to have stewardship and watch ministers passionately talk about money, but why don’t we ever hear anything about stewarding our bodies? Why don’t we hear many messages on the Biblical perspective of fitness? Statistics are alarming on how unfit our country has become and how unfit the church is. The most likely answer to that question is that

we don’t have very many leaders that are “fit behind the pulpit”. There’s not very many that are fit to lead and thus because leadership is off track, so goes church leaders, and so goes the church. The bottom line is the majority of our ministers are so focused on God’s temple that they neglect their own.
