Happy LBJ Day! On his birthday, we're celebrating his lasting impact on the rights of the visually impaired. In 1964, LBJ proclaimed October 15 as "White Cane Safety Day," a landmark act that recognized the white cane as a symbol of independence and skill.

This helped bring national attention and greater safety to the BVI community. We honor his legacy and the progress he helped create, which continues to impact lives today.

Show your support by joining us at our White Cane Day Walk!
