We are honored to recognize Susan Hughes, Occupational Therapist, during Occupational Therapy Month. A graduate of Texas Woman’s University, Susan has practiced Occupational Therapy for over 40 years, including 17 years with OTX.

Throughout her career, Susan has been dedicated to helping patients become more independent and improve their quality of life. She believes that with the right support and encouragement, patients can do more for themselves and she strives to make therapy a positive, supportive experience, even during challenging moments.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys sewing and needlework, refinishing furniture, training her dog Amber, traveling, and researching history and ancestry.

Her experience, compassion, and dedication have made a lasting impact on countless patients, and we are grateful for her many years of service. 💙
