Whether it’s a child’s first time in the saddle or a returning rider building on past progress, our team is here to support every step. We believe that through hands-on experiences and compassionate guidance, young people can discover resilience, trust, and a sense of belonging.

20 years ago a very wise man told me that “anyone can fake excitement, but you can’t fake passion.” When you feel the call to do something, passion is what drives you… through the mountaintop moments and out of the deepest valleys. Starting something new is full of both moments. When your “business partner” is also your best friend, passion for the call and your love for each other make any moment better. Several years ago it was passion that birthed RWR and today passion continues to drive us to work harder than we normally would. As a result I t’s easy to get caught up in the hard work, the long days, and the to-do lists. But moments like this remind us why we started.

At Rustic Way Ranch, we’re building more than just a place… we’re creating a space for healing, growth, and connection. And sometimes, the most important thing we can do is pause… take a ride… and simply enjoy the journey.

Because if you don’t take the time to appreciate what you’re building, it’s easy to forget the heart behind it.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

At Rustic Way Ranch, we believe healing doesn’t always happen within four walls. Sometimes, it takes a gentle nudge from a horse, the quiet of open pasture, and the bond between human and animal to begin the journey.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy offers a powerful, nature-based approach to mental wellness—helping individuals process trauma, manage anxiety, and reconnect with themselves through the non-judgmental presence of horses, farm animals, and nature.

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s talk about mental health. And let’s recognize that healing can look like fresh air, hoofbeats, and heart-to-heart moments in the arena.

The Pumpkin Patch is open today from 4:00-8:00! We will also be open Saturday from 10:00-8:00 as well as Sunday from 2:00-8:00! So come out and take a hay ride, enjoy the petting zoo, ride a pony, and of course get your pumpkins!
