🌼 What Are You Thankful For Today? 🌼

Today, I’m thankful for growth—the kind that doesn’t always feel good while it’s happening, but still moves us closer to healing, clarity, and peace.

I’m thankful for the strength to keep showing up, even on the days when my spirit feels low.

And most of all, I’m thankful for this community…

For every Butterfly Fighter and Butterfly Warrior who chooses healing, faith, and resilience—day by day, moment by moment.

Gratitude doesn’t erase the struggle, but it reminds us we’re bigger than the battle.
It brings us back to hope.
It brings us back to purpose.
It brings us back to us. 💛🦋

Coming November 2025 The Spectrum of Grief Journal

Grief is not one-dimensional. It’s not just the loss of a loved one it’s the loss of self, the loss of connection, and the process of learning to live again in the spaces left behind.

This guided journal was designed to walk with you through all six stages of grief from denial to acceptance, offering compassion, reflection, and hope at every turn.

Because healing doesn’t happen in one stage… it happens in the spectrum. 🕊️

💜
When you sit at The Healing Chair, you’re not just sharing your story, you’re opening the door to love, encouragement, and guidance.

Some of the submissions we received went straight to our hearts, and we placed a few inside the magazine. Our advice isn’t clinical, it’s personal. From the heart. From experience. From a place of care.

If you need advice, comfort, or just someone to “listen,” we’re here.

Welcome

Focusing In Growth & Holding Together aka F.I.G.H.T. began in 2012. The founder Jessica Kelly-Ellis was diagnosed with mental illness at the age of 15 years old. At the time no one believed she had mental illness because no one in her family ever experienced anything like that. In 2012, after having multiple trauma events in her life she cracked. She saw a doctor who diagnosed her with Bipolar and severe Depression. Jessica went to all her doctor's appointments and could never seem better unless she was talking to her therapist or just speaking out to others about how she feels. She found her niche when she got a chance to tell her story to an blogger. All Jessica wanted to do was make a difference in one persons life. She has been called a lot of names since 2012 some good and some bad. She gave up on telling her story because of the things people had said to her. Today, Jessica no longer cares what people think or how they feel about her. She realized that she can carry this message and be transparent so that it can help others who feel as they don’t have a voice. We hope you find our page very helpful. We hope that if you or a love one needs help that you will reach out to us. We are not doctors and we can only listen then advised what to do next. We have three support groups on Facebook. If you are interested please do not hesitate to let us know.
