Every bite counts. Our caregivers bring nourishment, safety, and dignity to the table, helping older adults thrive at home.
Many older adults face challenges to eating well, including loss of appetite, difficulty chewing, limited mobility, etc. That is where our caregivers make a real difference by:
- Preparing balanced meals that stimulate appetite.
- Grocery shopping to ensure access to fresh, healthy foods.
- Encouraging hydration throughout the day.
- Adjusting meal textures for comfort and safety (puree, bite size, etc).
- Provide companionship at mealtimes to make eating enjoyable.
