Our Policy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement (P.A.C.E) team was honored to attend the FreeLux Project's North Texas Anti-Stigma Summit in recognition of Zero HIV Stigma Day.

Stigma is one of the biggest barriers to HIV education, treatment, and prevention. Conversations ranged from the role of the church, effective messaging, incorporating the arts, and policy and advocacy. One of the biggest takeaways is that we often see stigma built upon stigma, and it all adds up to create an unhealthy environment.

Stop HIV stigma, make open and honest conversations about HIV status a regular occurrence!
