What do you long for? I experience many excessively busy weeks in a year and long for the quiet solace of my inner resource. My inner resource is the places I’ve come to realize renew me through a sense of awe, sounds and sensations of nature. Sometimes that’s my back porch and sometimes that’s sitting at the top of Observation Point in Zion National Park, or even on my paddle board watching the mountains pass by me.

Today, as I come out of one of the busy seasons and have a weekend where I’m rested and not rushing out the door to another event, I once again have to chance to read and sip my coffee.

Today I read this article and then watched the TED talk. Filled with peace I am blessed to have quiet time with the cool air flowing though my windows and the birds chirping. My diffuser filled with dōTERRA Adptive and wild orange. Blissful energy begins to shape my day.

Spent all weekend traveling and having some not so healthy meals. Was craving my new found appreciate for red cabbage. Bought it for a salad last week and then tried it roasted with a little olive oil and seasonings. Added some edamame today. You’re welcome!

I have been listening to this book and I’m loving it! I’ve often had “chatter” about situations and scenarios that I’ve claimed helped me to navigate future issues without the worry.

I also have first hand experience in knowing constant ruminating/venting/replaying events does not help in the long run.

I’m the Texan who waits for warmer weather but yearly I forget that this dry heat will drain the energy out of you quickly. I walk around with my Corkcicle overflowing with ice water and about 4-5 drops of dōTERRA Lemon essential oil! This refreshing beverage has increased my water intake and has added detoxifying benefits and keeping my mind energized throughout the day.

Happy Wednesday! I was recently introduced to a coffee beverage made with oat milk. My friend shared this simply because I was talking about some negative affects I was seeing from cows milk. Yes, the brown sugar cinnamon oat milk coffee is delicious and I make mine at home now.

I have never been a “reader.” I have definitely been a book collector always buying books at professional conferences. So many books read 1 chapter in. Why? That’s a whole different post. And also, I’m a reader, um I mean listener and a reader now. (Yes, I listen to book and follow along in the hard copy too).

Today I saw something that totally excited me, excitement similar to when was renewed for a 3rd season.

Greg McKeown just launched another book. His first book Essentialism was a fantastic read. I can’t wait to get my hands on Effortless! Love deliberate growth.
